Where this information comes from
- IP address: the address your connection used to reach our server, as seen by Cloudflare. If you use a VPN or proxy, you will see that service's address instead.
- Provider, network number and country: looked up from your IP address in Cloudflare's IP database. They are estimates. Mobile, satellite and business networks are sometimes registered under a parent company or another country.
- Data centre: the Cloudflare location that answered your request, reported by Cloudflare. It is usually close to you, but routing can choose a different one.
- Browser network estimate: a rough figure some browsers report about your connection type. It is not a measurement. Run the speed test for real numbers.
We do not show a street-level location: IP addresses cannot reveal it reliably, and showing a precise guess would be misleading. Nothing on this page is stored. See the privacy policy.
IPv4 and IPv6
An IPv4 address looks like 203.0.113.42; an IPv6 address is longer, like 2001:db8::1. Many connections support both, and your device chooses one for each connection. Which one you see here depends on that choice.
